Giving boys and girls an artistic outlet, dry-erase board-covered interior and exterior headboard, footboard, and side panels let kids and young teens doodle and draw whenever inspiration strikes. Made from sturdy solid wood, the platform bed frame has an 11-inch-deep clearance that is ideally positioned for underbed storage bins and containers, delivering excellent space-saving organization. Sporting a contemporary paint finish and low profile, the guest room-ready kids' bed includes a front attached ladder that is easy to climb up and down, widely spaced wooden slats that support two twin-size 6-inch maximum height spring coil mattresses (not included), and full-length safety guardrails on the top bunk that are seamlessly integrated into the bunk bed's modern design. Box springs are not required. Children must be at least 6 years old to use the top bunk and 3 years old to use the bottom bunk.
